Redmine combines functions of web application for project management and bug tracking system. Redmine succeeds to Trac in some features, but augmented with multiple projects support, RBAC, time tracking, calendar, Gantt charts and the possibility of user self-registration. JumpBox for Redmine offers all the necessary features in one package ready for installation and quick start.

Redmine is based on Ruby on Rails framework and this JumpBox includes appropriate environment setting with Apache 2.2 and Redmine deployed through Mongrel cluster. Windows file share, Amazon S3 and NFS are used for automatic back up of subversion repositories and MySQL.
