SnapLogic considerably facilitates and speeds up decision-making process as it provides rapid integration and viewing data from different sources such as databases, applications, files, etc. without taking any specific actions.

SnapLogic's Data Integration enables even non-technical users to quickly integrate important data stored in different places for getting precious insight needed for effective decision-making.

Building-block approach is implemented here allowing you to simply choose components using handy drag-and-drop interface. Having chosen components from information sources like databases, XML documents, files, applications or web pages, you can configure them into reusable resources for further transformation via tying resources together.

Subsequently these data can be output in different formats, for example, HTML or CSV. Also you can expand the functionality by adding "Extensions" (i.e. plug-ins).

Reasons to use JumpBox.

SnapLogic deployment depends greatly on the platform you use. For example, to run SnapLogic on Linux it is required to have Python 2.5.x, GCC, and SQLite 3, and the Python, libxslt1, libxml2, MySQL installed and configured. JumpBox offers all this in a package, configured and ready to work in several minutes. Isn’t your time worth anything?

SnapLogic - Characteristics and advantages

SnapLogic Server - The SnapLogic Server consists of HTTP server and collection of "Components". The first is intended for executing and delivering your data transformations while the second plays role of building blocks for integration and transformation.

Components - With the help of components you can avoid necessity in duplicating databases and custom development. They allow you to receive existing data from data warehouses, databases, websites, applications, RSS feeds and other sources.

Resources - Resources are intended for facilitating your data integration. When you endow your components with particular features, they become reusable Resources and introduce data in a simplified format. Unique Uniform Resources Identifier is designed to grant you easy access to them.

Pipelines - You can tie Resources together into pipelines to perform complex transformations.

SnapLogic Designer - To get started with data transformation use handy drag-and-drop interface designed on browser basis.

Search - Search feature grants you and any other users throughout your organization fast access to previously-created SnapLogic Resources.

Command line interface - Using this feature you can activate pipelines from cron jobs, shell commands and other interfaces.

Metadata repository - Provide storage and create catalogues for your SnapLogic Components, Pipelines and Resources making them available for other users within your organization.

REST-ful design - You can avoid hand-coding and allow multiple projects due to REST-ful solution standardizing access protocols and methods as well as data structure for each interaction. Data integration process becomes really easy and effective with this RESTful style architecture.

Extensions - For expanding the system functionality use "extensions" developed by the SnapLogic Community. There are extensions for Salesforce.com and SugarCRM represented as examples of SnapLogic potential.
